CMC is a lay mission program sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the
Sacred Heart, commonly known as the Cabrini Sisters. CMC was founded in 1990 to offer lay people the opportunity
to serve for one to two years in the United States or overseas. CMC missioners make a difference while
ministering in education, health care, child care, pastoral ministry, and social services, while living
simply in a support community, usually with Cabrini sisters and sometimes with other missioners.

Cabrini Mission Foundation
(CMF) exists to respond to societal needs - supporting worldwide works of healing, teaching, caring and
giving. This mission was begun by St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, the Patroness of Immigrants, and continues
through works sponsored by the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart (MSC), the international religious order
she founded.
Cabrini Mission Foundation
seeks to support and enhance MSC works and ministries of its Stella Maris Province
(encompassing the United States, Australia, Africa, and the Philippines) by maintaining
appropriate philanthropic support of national fund raising, endowment and donor
programs. Cabrini Mission Foundation provided Cabrini Mission Corps a grant of
$27,000 in April 2000 for the creation of a recruiting video.
