| Cabrini Mission Corps missioners serve in a variety of ministries |
The Koch Foundation, Inc. of Gainesville, Florida has awarded $10,000 to Cabrini Mission Corps for its "Formation for Mission" program. Koch Foundation funds will be used to support the orientation, retreats, debriefing and ongoing spiritual direction components for CMC missioners for the 2008-2009 mission year.
The Koch Foundation began with the vision of Mr. Carl and Mrs. Paula Koch in 1979. It was Mr. Koch's belief that he was just a steward of the finances given by God to use on His behalf, which inspired the commitment he and his wife, Paula, made to founding the Koch Foundation. Thus, began a commitment by the Koch family to continue the vision of Mr. and Mrs. Koch in supporting evangelization efforts of the Catholic Church. The Foundation has grown from initially supporting evangelization efforts by Catholic organizations within the United States to providing international assistance as well in supporting the Catholic faith.
